Why Gender Matters -Book #2

For my book selection I have chosen Why Gender Matters by Dr. Leonard Sax. I chose this book due to the fact that it addresses the significance of how we should address our students based on their gender. Dr. Sax also addresses how to overcome gender stereotypes and how students benefit from being seperated in the classroom by gender. Dr. Sax is a physician and psychologist and founder of the National Association for Single-Sex Public Education. Along with this book study I am looking at schools that have implemented single sex education to see how effective the process has been for students and test scores. I look forward to walking through this book and exploring the possibilities of gender based education.
